This exhibition represents the cultural exchange between Sweden and Japan through our “intertradition” project, which has given a new touch to the traditional craft kurume kasuri. Traditional textile woven in the Chikugo area of Southern Fukuoka for nearly 200 years meets Sweden in a fusion of cultures.
